Telecommunication Services Audit andTELE-SERV ™ Management Program“A Comprehensive, Cost-effective Approach For Reducing and Controlling Telecommunications Expenses” Voice, Data, Wireless and Internet CommunicationsCURRENT Overview • Most local and long distance telecommunication service companies today are large, people – intensive businesses, make significant mistakes on their customer bills such as computation errors, basic line charges and more - and they are not mandated to monitor customer bills for errors or offer better service or rate options! • Controlling telecommunications expenditures requires ongoing management of three key cost components: local service, local usage and long distance service! • As the result of the breakup of the Bell System in 1984, and the passage of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 by the Federal Government, many different and unique types of telephone services are now available, with many more to come. Because of this, it has become next to impossible for most companies to determine what carrier or program offers the most cost-effective rates! • The upcoming mergers of AT&T and SBC, as well as MCI and Verizon may present additional, or limit opportunities for cost savings in some states • Various options are now available for companies to reduce expenses through the integration of voice and data communications (VoIP)! • With current technology such as fiber optics, voice call quality between telecommunication carriers has become more consistent! • T.1, ISDN, Frame Relay and Voice over IP services can offer significant cost savings if implemented and managed correctly! To expand our Telecommunication Auditing Service, Gibson Consulting Group has developed a complete TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES AUDIT AND “TELE-SERV” MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. This comprehensive two part program goes far beyond the basic auditing program for our Client's by providing ongoing management and control of all telecommunication related services and expenditures both now and for the future! HERE'S HOW OUR TWO-PART PROGRAM WORKS! Part 1: Basic Telecommunications Services Audit Gibson Consulting Group will initially conduct an in-depth analysis of current and past telecommunication usage charges at all Client locations. To begin our analysis, we request telecommunication bills for the previous three (3) to six (6) months, including call detail pages, as well as all current long distance telecommunication service agreements. We also need information such as current telecommunication equipment, service records and internal telephone directories from your location(s). Your bills are then analyzed for discrepancies and overcharges related to incorrect rates and billing procedures, over provisioning of services, incorrect contract discounts, etc. Current and competitive carrier long distance service tariffs/programs are also evaluated. Assuming that following the completion of our audit, we find you are entitled to a refund or credit, we negotiate with the telephone service providers on your behalf providing all support documentation as needed. We will go back as far as the Statute of Limitations allows. As part of our detailed Final Audit Report, we present recommendations to you regarding future cost saving opportunities in the telecommunication area for your company. Following approval of our recommendations, we assist with their full implementation.Gibson Consulting Group works on a performance/contingency fee basis when providing the Basic Telecommunications Services Audit portion of the program for our Clients. Our fee is based upon a percentage of the amount recovered for you, whether it is in the form of a cash refund, credit to your account, or future cost savings that is realized by your company for a 24-month period following the full implementation of all approved recommendations. A minimal one-time processing fee is due prior to the start of our Basic Telecommunication Services Audit and is based upon the size and/or complexity of the Client's accounts. This initial fee covers only a minimal portion of the administrative costs incurred by Gibson Consulting Group in the completion of the total project for our Client. We also believe that payment of this fee reflects a Client's commitment and vested interest in the overall success of the total project. If other programs go even this far, this is where they traditionally stop. Our “TELE-SERV” Management Program extends far beyond this!
Part 2: “TELE-SERV” Management Program Following the presentation of the Basic Telecommunication Services Audit Final Report, and the approval/implementation of the submitted recommendations, Gibson Consulting Group can provide total Management Services in the telecommunications area through the “TELE-SERV” Management Program. The specific services provided, which are mutually agreed upon by both parties, can include current and new Client location account maintenance, monthly review of call traffic patterns and service costs, evaluation and recommendation of equipment/service upgrades, the review of monthly bills for possible errors and the development of budgetary reports forecasting telecommunication costs for future periods. (Invoice/Payment approval with A/P coding is also available). Comprehensive monthly reports are provided following the implementation of the “TELE-SERV” Management Program. The monthly fee payable to Gibson Consulting Group is based upon the type and level of services/scope of work provided by our firm related to the management service options requested by the Client. There is a 24-month minimum contract required for our firm to provide the “TELE-SERV” Management Program that is separate from the contract covering the Basic Telecommunication Services Audit.
